Saturday and the sun is out.

Today it is too hot to wear a sweater or coat. I went and practiced some golf at the free practice area then hit some balls at the driving range. When I came home Trish, Kelly and I went out to find a place to ride horses.

It turned out to be right beside the golf course I had been at. We have had a late lunch due to the fact that Mass is at 7:00 PM now and we will eat when I get home. There is not much to report. We have settled into the Portuguese life style and are moving slowly.

Having said that we have been here for more or less exactly 4 days. We have recovered from little sleep Tuesday night, been shopping twice, practiced golf, Kelly and I have had a walk, bowled in a tournament and unpacked and moved into the house. We have also met the neighbours from Holland.

So far so good. Wish you were all here.

Everything is going well. Well not everything my team it the English vs Scotland and the World Tournament got beaten badly.

Also I should mention that it was not sunny today. It was warm but the sun let us down. When I asked Kelly to go for a walk she looked outside and said "I don't think so".

Arrived Safely in Faro Portugal January 29, 2020

Good morning

We are now conformably situated in our "new" home. I say new home because the place we will be staying is not ready yet so the but us in a very modern three bedroom. Iti is very nice but smaller there the one we will move to.

Yesterday we had a wonderful flight on Air Transat and arrived pretty much on time. We did have a bit of a scare when Trish could not find her wallet. While it was not found in Portugal My sisters did find it in our kitchen back home. Trish did find her International Drivers Licence so she is able to drive. Joan sent us a copy of her health card, but I think as of last week Ford has made them useless outside of Ontario.

We arrive did a little shopping and slept. When we got up the three of us walked down to Porto di Mare one of our favourite restaurants. It is right down by the boardwalk. Kelly had chicken while Trish and I had shrimp pasta.

I have been to the bowling green and saw David and Mary Austin. David said he knew we were coming because he was bowling against Tish and she said we would be here this week. I am bowling in the Scotland and England against the world tomorrow. I will play the part of the world.

I will leave you with the good news, we have a coffee pot and the bad news, we have no vermouth.
