Alex Marshall came to say hello on Tuesday. I have copies from Wikipedia the following information.
"He is a record breaking six-time World Indoor Singles Champion. He has six World Indoor Pairs titles to his credit (four Men's Pairs and two Mixed Pairs). Marshall has won six World Outdoor Championship Gold medals (Pairs in 1992, 2000 and 2012, Fours in 1992, and Team in 1992, 1996 and 2004)."
He did not actually Bowl but went around giving some advice but generally just being friendly and very accommodating. Our team won so I guess he felt we did not need any advice.
On Tuesday there was a group of Bowlers played with us. They had come from Scotland to The Algarve for a week of bowling. I am going to bowl with them this afternoon. They are recognizable in their blue shirts.
