That was Wednesday by Thursday we were emailing Air Transat. The reply was simple, thank you for filling out the form. It's a great assistance to us and we will get back to you as soon as possible. This may be after your flight has left.
Last night Nana and I decided to just come home. We signed up for a flight from London. We signed up and picked our seats 4 times. Each time it said we had done something wrong and should try again. This was very frustrating but there was nothing we could do. Today we went in and saw the nice lady at the front desk of Pedras de Rainha. She filled out the forms to get on a TAP flight out of Lisbon. As she finished the computer flashed they could not complete the request.
Time for desperate measures. If Mohamed will not come to the mountain bring the mountain to Mohamed. Nana and I drove to Faro. We would go to TAP's desk and simply buy the tickets. Faro is the second largest airport in Portugal. TAP is the national airline. It would be simple to buy the tickets at their Faro booth. BIG PROBLEM TAP has no representation in the airport.
If we had tails we would have driven back with them between our legs.
